Hohhot and vicinities. A route across China and across Mongolia: Hohhot and жд transport of China

HOHHOT (known to Chinese as Hukhekhaote, or even even more often called Husha) existed during an era of a dynasty of mines, 400 years ago though the capital of the Inner Mongolia it became only in 1952. The trip here will be more interesting, than trips to China. Till comparably recent time it there was the small town as which kernel of building Buddhist temples served. These temples have remained and to this day, and in spite of the fact that Hohhot has at present turned into the big city, it shows an ideal of bright mixture old and new. For movement in the city there is a taxi, is not more awful than a taxi in China. In the summer it rolls in magnificent greens. Not without reason its name in a translation from the Mongolian language means «the green city». The Hohhot centre is formed at present by sparkling structures of new banks and department stores whereas its southern part is formed by the most ancient, narrow small streets which have been built up with houses from a dark brick with tile roofs. Glance in Huth-hoto even if you have chosen a route across China. Today Hohhot – the city generally hanskiya though here live as well ethnic хуэй, and Mongols. To guests will be rather interesting to wander on the Mongolian quarters and to test their original food. A reason for arrival to this city is also its proximity to some known Mongolian steppes lying in borders of hundred-kilometre radius from borders of Hohhot. And to leave from Huth-hoto, you can use жд transport of China.

Rest in China from Khabarovsk will not burden the house budget with the prices of our company!
